Hull City boss Phil Brown has reassured Darryl Duffy that he still has a future at the KC Stadium following his loan switch to Swansea City.
Duffy has been allowed to sign for the League One promotion hopefuls on loan, but Brown insists the former Rangers and Falkirk striker can still be an important player for the Tigers.
The 22-year-old spent two months on loan at Hartlepool United earlier in the season.
"Darryl just wanted to play and he was one player that would always be knocking on my door," said Brown.
"He was attracting a lot of interest because he is a very good striker that has been sitting idle. Every team wants a goalscorer at this time of year.
"I fended off interest from numerous clubs but I believe a loan move can work in everyone's interest."
