Duffen prepared to be patient

Hull City chairman Paul Duffen has told concerned fans that there is no need to worry about the lack of transfer activity at the KC Stadium so far this summer.
Fraizer Campbell, Marlon Harewood, Michael Owen and Marc Antoine Fortune have both been linked with switches to the Tigers but, as yet, no deal has been sealed.
Duffen is unconcerned though, telling the Hull Daily Mail: "We're pursuing five or six targets simultaneously and time will dictate which ones come in first.
"They're all strikers and we're concurrently pursuing options on multiple targets because we have to. I can't influence the timescale of when a particular player is going to make a decision.
"I have to get on with the business of running the club. If that means we make other choices then so be it.
"It's the nature of the market and having a window at all makes it an artificial trading market.
"Everything is weighted towards the back end of the window and the problem with that means it's hard to get players into your club and get them conditioned through pre-season."
