City release Thorne, sign Kendall

Bradford striker Peter Thorne will have his deal terminated by mutual consent this week, and the Bantams have signed Hull's Ryan Kendall to replace him.The 36-year-old was due to be out of contract in the summer. Thorne finished as top scorer at Valley Parade for the last two seasons but has seen his time at the club disrupted by a series of injuries.
