Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard's return to fitness has been rewarded with the Premier League Player of the Month award for November.
The 31-year-old suffered a serious knee injury on his Tigers debut in January and was sidelined until October, while in November he made three starts and scored twice as City beat Stoke City and drew with both West Ham United and Manchester City.
City manager Phil Brown recently said of Bullard: "Jimmy is a great character, which manifests itself in the way he plays.
"He has an exuberance, which means he is comfortable expressing himself. He also has a confidence that is second to none.
"He makes other players around him want to play as well and the more we have who are confident and positive, the better we do overall."
Meanwhile, Tigers boss Brown is hoping for a continuation of the recent improvement by his side, as he celebrates three years in charge at the KC Stadium.
He commented: "It has been brilliant, first-class.
"There have been highs and lows and to get to the highs you have to sample the lows, unfortunately, but I am looking forward to the fourth year."
