Bullard delighted to be back

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard has expressed his delight at returning to playing following a long-term knee injury. The former Fulham ace made his Tigers comeback in their 2-1 reserves' loss to Bolton on Tuesday night. Bullard got his name on the scoresheet with a well-taken shot from just outside the area and he admitted it was the icing on the cake. The 30-year-old has spent the best part of the year on the sidelines with a knee injury and he has conceded that being out of action was a struggle. Bullard is hoping to get another reserves outing under his belt and is targeting a first-team return against the Cottagers on 19th October. Enjoyment"I loved every minute of it, just to be out there kicking a ball again," he told Sky Sports News. "As soon as I knew that I had a reserve game coming up I couldn't wait to get out there. The last two months have been a nightmare. "I've been out for seven months now so I felt (fatigue) a little bit. I feel good now. I couldn't believe it (the goal) when it went in. It felt good. "I've been out a long time now and I just want to enjoy my football and get back to playing. "I'm hoping to get a couple more minutes under my belt and try to be involved against my former team."
