Bullard committed to Tigers
22 Apr 2009 - 11:29:57
Injured midfielder Jimmy Bullard has pledged his long-term future to Hull City whatever the outcome of their fight to avoid relegation.
The England midfielder has been sidelined since suffering a season-ending knee ligament injury on his Tigers debut in January.
Bullard joined Phil Brown's side in a club record £5million deal from Fulham in January but has rubbished reports that he might seek a summer move should his new side lose their Premier League status.
Hull have slipped to a season low 16th place in the table in recent weeks following a slump in form since the turn of the year.
"I've no clauses in my contract, that's one thing I don't like," said Bullard. "When I signed it's because I want to be a Hull player in the long run.
"It's a four-and-a-half-year contract and I want to play that for Hull and more."
