Brown retains Zamora hopes

Hull City manager Phil Brown has refused to accept defeat in his attempts to bring Fulham striker Bobby Zamora to the KC Stadium. The 28-year-old rejected an initial offer from the Tigers, after a £5million fee was agreed between the two clubs. However, Brown told the Hull Daily Mail: "As far as we're concerned, the case is certainly not closed. "His agent was at our game on Saturday and we discussed further the level of contract Bobby would expect. "It's not dead at all, I haven't been told by anyone that the answer is no. "For me, it's still very much alive."
