Brown looking for fresh chance
14 Jul 2010 - 12:40:22
Former Hull City manager Phil Brown has spoke of his desire to get back in the game ahead of the new season.
The ambitious 51-year-old has admitted there are many managers out there looking for work, but finding the right job is not easy.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, he said: "There's a lot of good men out of work and there are a lot of good men waiting to get back in there and I'm one of them.
"Unfortunately that's the way it is, football. You get relieved of your duties and then you're looking around for the next job.
"Sometimes it's crazy because managers and players are under pressure a few games into the new season. With 51 managers going last season it's a scandalous situation we find ourselves in. That's the nature of the beast.
"I've had a couple of good offers and one that I've respectively turned down. I think for what we did at Hull for the last two or three years I'm bound to get those kinds of offers.
"However, I feel as if there's a position out there with a chairman that's as ambitious as I am."
