Brown eyes Manucho return
06 Jun 2009 - 10:35:50
Hull City manager Phil Brown could snap up Manchester United striker Manucho on a permanent basis this summer.
The 26-year-old Angola international spent the second half of the season on loan at the KC Stadium, scoring twice in 17 appearances for the Tigers.
Manucho still has 18 months left on his United contract but may be surplus to requirements at Old Trafford after making only three substitute appearances for Sir Alex Ferguson's side last term.
"There's mileage in Manucho but how much there is would depend on how much he'd cost us," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.
"He's 6ft 4ins, he's got an eye for goal, pace and an awareness in the penalty box.
"There's certainly potential where he's concerned, but he's a very raw talent."
