Brown eager to keep Turner

Hull City manager Phil Brown has confirmed that he is facing a fight to keep star centre-back Michael Turner at the KC Stadium this summer. The 25-year-old is a reported target for the likes of Manchester City and Fulham, with Brown keen to keep hold of one of his side's key players. He told Sky Sports News: "I am very keen to hang on to him. There is no doubt about it, he was our best player last year. "But there are some big clubs out there that can turn young players' heads quite easily. "I will be fighting tooth and nail to keep him, but everyone has their valuation. "Hopefully nobody comes up to our valuation and we can hold on to him for a year or two."
