Veteran midfielder George Boateng is in no rush to open new contract talks with relegation-threatened Hull City.
The 34-year-old Dutchman's current KC Stadium deal expires in June but he wants to concentrate on matters on the pitch before turning his attention to his own future.
He told the Hull Daily Mail: "If I'm honest, the contract is nowhere near an issue for me. The main thing on my mind is to keep my place in the team, perform well and try and help this team to stay up. Those are my only priorities.
"I would like to go on holiday in the summer and think 'It was tough but we've made it.' I want to be proud and say that for 14 consecutive seasons I have been in the Premier League.
"If then the club wants to keep me here, and the fans want to see me here, we can sit around a table and talk about it. That would be the easy part. The hardest part is winning games and that is my main focus."
