Golden touch: Richard Stearman is mobbed[LNB]It was a sight that Hull City have become used to over the past couple of years -  but not for much longer. An opposition striker shot at their goal from close range late on, the goalkeeper was beaten but Michael Turner was in the right place at  the right time to make the crucial block on the line.[LNB]Hull captain Turner - their player of the year for the past two seasons - is set to join Sunderland on Monday for a basic fee of £12million excluding add-ons and, after a wave to the crowd, the centre back walked off with fitting chants of 'There's only one Michael Turner' ringing in his ears. His departure will leave a gaping hole in Hull's defence.[LNB]'Nobody wants to lose a player of Mike's calibre,' admitted Hull goalkeeper Boaz Myhill. 'But it's not our call. It's the people in charge of the club's  decision and we just get on with and do as best as we can.' [LNB] Hull manager Phil Brown defended the imminent move by saying theclub could not  turn down 'crazy' money. 'Whatever your evaluation is,the world has gone crazy,' said Brown. 'We're talking double figuresfor a player that cost us £350,000.' [LNB]Hull went ahead in the third minute as Geovanni headed in fromStephen Hunt's  cross. Soon after the break, Michael Mancienne'sfree-kick from the half way  line was flicked on by Jody Craddock andRichard Stearman poked in the equaliser.  [LNB]Versatile defender Stearman is back in Wolves manager MickMcCarthy's good  books after falling foul of him last season. Stearmanturned up late for a game against Swansealast October and was dropped.[LNB] Heads up: Hull's Michael Turner wins a challenge with Andrew Keogh of Wolves[LNB] 'It was a mistake from myself but I just had to keep my head downand make no more mistakes,' said Stearman. 'I hoped that the gafferwould see that and  persevere with me. He's done that.' [LNB]'It never had an effect on him,' added McCarthy. 'I don't bear grudges with  players.' It was a high-pressure game for referee Stuart Attwell after recentcriticisms of him. But he gave a sound display with Mike Riley lookingon.  [LNB]WOLVES (4-4-2): Hennessey 7; Stearman 7, Craddock 7, Mancienne 7,Elokobi 6;  Halford 6, Henry 6, Milijas 7, Jarvis 7; Keogh 7 (Vokes89min), Doyle 7.HULL(4-5-1): Myhill 7; Zayatte 6, Turner 7, Mouyokolo 7, Dawson 7; Hunt7,  Geovanni 7 (Barmby 82), Olofinjana 7, Kilbane 6, Ghilas 7 (Fagan73, 6); Folan  7 (Altidore 63, 6).
