On-loan Oldham striker Dean Windass is ready to get on his bike and help keep Hull City in the Premier League The Hull hero, who is currently playing for the Latics on loan, has been getting his match sharpness back after spending the first part of the season on the sidelines, struggling to force his way into Tigers boss Phil Brown's plans. Hull were in fine form at the start of the campaign, but as the Tigers get sucked into a relegation scrap, the veteran forward is desperate to answer his parent club's call, should it arrive. "I've not been told anything officially, but I'd love the opportunity," Windass said. "If it came I'd jump on my bike and cycle back over there. And if the chain broke I'd run! I'd be that keen on a return. "No disrespect to Oldham who have given me a chance to play first-team football again. "But everyone knows I'm a Hull City fan and it would be amazing if I could go back and try to help them stay up."
