Hull City take their siege mentally to the JJB to face Wigan in one of two matches live on Sky Sports this Sunday.[LNB] The Tigers make the short trip to Greater Manchester to face Steve Bruce's Latics following a controversial defeat to Arsenal in midweek.[LNB]Tuesday's FA Cup quarter-final saw the Gunners progress, but the contest was marred by an off-the-field altercation involving Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas and Hull assistant manager Brian Horton.[LNB]Since then Brown has been handed a whopping £2,500 fine and warned about his own conduct in an FA Cup tie against Newcastle earlier in the season.[LNB]And the Tigers tactician is hoping the resentment of their bitter midweek cup exit will spur them onto better results, starting this weekend.[LNB]Ashbee blowCaptain Ian Ashbee has been ruled out of the Tiger' trip to The JJB with a hamstring problem.[LNB]The City midfielder picked up the injury during the first-half of the defeat to Arsenal and has not recovered in time for Sunday's fixture.[LNB]Brown will give defensive duo Michael Turner and Antony Gardner as long as possible to prove their fitness, although neither trained on Friday morning.[LNB]The good news for the Tigers is that Dean Marney returns from suspension, while Kevin Kilbane is back to face his former club after being cup-tied.[LNB]Hull are still without Jimmy Bullard and George Boateng, with both midfielders out with long-term knee problems.[LNB]Latics team-newsWigan boss Steve Bruce is looking to all but secure his side's top-flight status by recording their first back-to-back win in ten outings.[LNB]The Latics tasted their first victory in eight attempts last weekend with a 2-1 win away to Sunderland.[LNB]But Bruce may have to try to achieve that feat without the services of winger Antonio Valencia, who is a slight doubt.[LNB]The Ecuador international has been struggling with a hamstring problem over the last couple of months and has yet to regain full fitness.[LNB]Midfielder Lee Cattermole is definitely out of the match as the 20-year-old serves the second game of a four-match suspension.[LNB]Should Paul Scharner figure this weekend, the versatile Austrian will become the first player in Wigan's history to make 100 Premier League appearances.[LNB]Possible starting XIs:[LNB]Wigan: Kirkland, Figueroa, Boyce, Bramble, Melchiot, N'Zogbia, Scharner, Watson, Valencia, Zaki, Mido.[LNB]Hull: Duke, Kilbane, Gardner, Turner, Dawson, Ricketts, Marney, Garcia, Geovanni, Manucho, Fagan.[LNB]
