We won't get outselves locked in another relegation battle, claims Hull chief Duffen

Hull chairman Paul Duffen insists the club will not be involved in another relegation battle after narrowly avoiding the drop  from the Barclays Premier League yesterday. The Tigers retained their top-flight status by one point despite a 1-0 home defeat against Manchester United as results elsewhere ensured it was Newcastle and Middlesbrough that dropped into the Championship along with West Brom. Hull recorded only one win from their last 22 league outings and collected just eight points from their last 66 on offer. Their woes in the latter half of the campaign were in stark contrastto their early-season form, when the Tigers looked a good bet forEurope after taking 20 points from their first nine games. However Duffen is confident Hull will learn from their mistakes and improve their league position next season.
