Walsh determined to put things right

Assistant manager Steve Walsh said Hull have gone "back to basics" in training this week. The Tigers came crashing down to earth after their opening-day win over Swansea by taking a trouncing at Millwall last Saturday after which the club's new management team promised plenty of hard work to put things right. Walsh said: "There's nothing we can do about last weekend's game but there's plenty we can do about this week's game. "We've done a lot of work on defending and hopefully we can put that into action against Watford. "We have to knuckle down and do the basics of the game correctly. Once you've got that in order, you can move forward and that's what we're aiming to do on Saturday. "Watford have started the season strongly and they've got some decent players. We don't underestimate anybody and we know that they're going to come to try and get three points. It's up to us to make sure we're composed, up for it and really going for the three points ourselves."
