Vine keen to prosper alongside Jay
Hull's latest loan signing Rowan Vine is relishing the chance of rekindling his strike partnership with former QPR team-mate Jay Simpson.[LNB] Simpson signed a permanent deal at the KC Stadium in August while Vine joined on loan from Rangers on Friday in time to make his debut in Saturday's goalless home draw with Coventry.[LNB]Vine said: "Jay is a top lad and I played with him at QPR. It's nice to see friendly faces when you come to a new club.[LNB]"I've played with Jay before and hopefully I can help him. I feel as though I know how to play with him and with time I feel we can get a partnership going.[LNB]"With two up front and Jimmy Bullard just behind, we will create chances and it's up to us to start taking them."
