Turner claims clean sweep

Hull defender Michael Turner has claimed two more player of the year awards for his outstanding season with the Tigers. Following up from being handed the supporters' club prize, Turner has been named as the club's official player of the season as well as the players' player. Captain Ian Ashbee was runner-up for the club gong with Brazilian star Geovanni third. Geovanni's stunning winner against Arsenal last October was goal of the season with reserves midfielder Tom Cairney named young player of the year. Veteran Nick Barmby was also handed an award for outstanding contribution.
