Tottenham kept a fifth successive clean sheet in the Premier League, for the first time in nine years, but they were denied a win by a succession of outstanding saves from Boaz Myhill. [LNB]Spurs may have gone eight hours and 57 minutes without conceding, but this was clearly a wasted opportunity to cement hopes of qualifying for the Champions League. [LNB]Hull arrived without a win in nine Premier League games but the draw enabled them to move out of the relegation zone. And they were first to threaten, in the 12th minute, when Nicky Barmby, once of Spurs, fed lone striker Craig Fagan but he was beaten to the ball by goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes. [LNB]In the 16th minute, referee Martin Atkinson was forced to intervene when Tottenham's Tom Huddlestone appeared to kick out at Paul McShane, the Hull defender preferred to Bernard Mendy. The official called both captains over and lectured all four players but resisted the temptation to show any early cards. [LNB]And play was halted again seconds later when Fagan suffered a head injury after being sandwiched between Vedran Corluka and Michael Dawson, but after lengthy treatment he returned. [LNB]The interruptions were affecting the flow of the game, and there was another break in the 24th minute when Richard Garcia suffered another head injury. Hull were continuing to frustrate the Spurs fans with their delaying tactics and Barmby could not complain when he was booked for time wasting. [LNB]In the 35th minute a rare chance was created when, from Kranjcar's corner, Myhill pushed the ball away from under the crossbar. And the game came to life three minutes later when Myhill made two outstanding saves. If the first stop, from Wilson Palacios, was impressive the second, to deny Robbie Keane, was world class, the Welsh international still grounded when he twisted his body to save superbly. [LNB]And, early in the second half, Myhill was Hull's saviour again. Luka Modric's shot took a slight deflection but the Welsh international parried, the ball falling to Keane. But as easy as it seemed to score, the Irishman was denied when the ball struck Myhill in the face. [LNB]And in the 57th minute Hull should have taken the lead following an error by Kranjcar. Stephen Hunt cut-out the Croatian's wayward pass and fed Barmby but the midfielder, faced with only Gomes to beat, shot wide when he could have scored. [LNB]Spurs replaced Keane with Peter Crouch in the 62nd minute and the England striker was soon involved, but still Hull defended well and continued to frustrate Spurs. [LNB]And in the 77th minute, Myhill saved superbly again, to deny Modric, before a sixth outstanding stop denied Crouch a late winner.[LNB]
