Dean Windass on the goalscoring trail [LNB] Two hundred league goals and I consider myself lucky to have been there and worn the T-shirt.[LNB]Once I discovered I was on 199 a few weeks ago, I decided to put the celebratory T-shirt under my Oldham shirt and risk a booking, but I was getting fed up. [LNB]I wasn't going to bother last week, but I just felt the magical goal would come.[LNB]Why celebrate? From the moment I walked out of Brian Horton's office after being kicked out by Hull City[LNB]as a kid, I decided to play every game as if it was my last.[LNB]Perhaps when things are nearly taken away from you, you appreciate them more.[LNB]I can still remember my first goal for Hull in a freezing cold Tuesday night cup game at Grimsby as if it was yesterday. [LNB]It was nearly 20 years ago.[LNB]The best goal I ever scored was for Hull at Wycombe Wanderers — a flick over my shoulder, volley with my left foot and it flew into the top of the net without bouncing.[LNB]Another favourite is the 100th goal which was for Middlesbrough[LNB]at Chelsea[LNB]. [LNB]But I don't like to talk about that one.[LNB]The next target? The 250 total career goals. I am 20 away.[LNB] [LNB]
