Tilson considers changes

Southend manager Steve Tilson may be tempted to freshen up his side for Carling Cup second round trip to Hull. The Shrimpers boss has seen his men draw all four of their opening League One games and could shuffle his pack at the KC Stadium. Veteran striker Dougie Freedman could be one of those to be left out by Tilson, with Alex Revell and James Walker both pushing hard to partner top scorer Lee Barnard in attack, while loan defender Jean-Yves M'Voto could also come in. M'Voto and fellow loanees Matt Heath and John White are all cleared to figure after their parent clubs allowed them to play in the win over Cheltenham in the previous round. Winger Damien Scannell has begun training following an ankle injury but is unlikely to be involved, while Francis Laurent is sidelined through a similar injury.
