Hull City chairman Paul Duffen insists staying in the Premier League is the 'ultimate priority' ahead of a trip to Wembley.[LNB] The Tigers have enjoyed their debut season in the top flight and have also reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.[LNB]A 1-0 win at Fulham last week boosted the club's hopes of survival, while next Tuesday they head to Arsenal for their last-eight encounter in the cup.[LNB]However, rather than look to secure a semi-final date against Chelsea at Wembley, Duffen is targeting the two wins which he believes will keep City in the Premier League.[LNB]Next on the agenda for the the Tigers is Saturday's home meeting with fellow strugglers Newcastle at the KC Stadium.[LNB]Absolutely imperative"The win at Fulham took us another step closer to guaranteeing Premier League football next season, and I think 38 points will be enough for us," Duffen told the Hull Daily Mail.[LNB]"Two wins and we will be there so, by definition, Newcastle is a massive game for us because it is an opportunity to get half of the points we need[LNB]"It is a mark of how far this football club has come that we are playing such big games week after week.[LNB]"But I view it very much on the basis that it is absolutely imperative that we secure our status in the Premier League. [LNB]"That has to be our ultimate priority and the FA Cup remains a wonderful adventure."[LNB]
