Tigers show six appeal
Hull romped to a comfortable 6-0 victory over Northern Premier League Premier Division side North Ferriby United on Wednesday night to retain the Billy Bly Memorial Trophy.
Goals from Peter Halmosi and Mark Cullen gave the Tigers a 2-0 lead at the interval before the npower Championship side rammed home their superiority in the second period.
Second-half strikes from Daniel Cousin, Will Atkinson, Nolberto Solano and Danny Emerton completed the rout.
New signing James Harper impressed on his debut, but was forced off with an injury after 27 minutes.
