Tigers set to land Ghilas

Skysports.com understands that Hull City are closing in on Celta Vigo forward Kamel Ghilas. The highly-rated Algerian was linked with a move to Blackburn earlier in the summer, while Bolton were also credited with an interest. The Tigers have now entered the chase and have held talks with the Spanish club about a possible transfer. It is believed they are set to agree a deal ahead of a move which could go through later in the week. Having missed out on a number of other targets, Phil Brown is keen to strengthen his squad before Saturday's Premier League opener against Chelsea. Celta also stated last month that they were prepared to sell 25-year-old Ghilas.
