Tigers set to confirm signings

Hull City are expected to announce the signings of Stephen Hunt and Kamel Ghilas at a press conference on Thursday afternoon. Reading have already confirmed that a fee for Hunt has been agreed while reports from Spain have indicated that Celta Vigo striker Ghilas will also be moving to the KC Stadium. Hunt reportedly agreed the personal terms of his deal with Hull before linking up with his Republic of Ireland team-mates for Wednesday's friendly with Australia. While the winger's fee remains undisclosed, Algeria international Ghilas will make the switch from his recently relegated club for around £2million. Once the two transfers are confirmed, it will take the Tigers' number of summer signings to four, after Seyi Olofinjana and Jozy Alditore were both recently captured. Manager Phil Brown has recently seen his fortunes turn around after pursuing Michael Owen, Fraizer Campbell, Marc-Antoine Fortune, Daryl Murphy and Habib Beye to no avail.
