Tigers recall Duke

Hull have been granted permission by the Football League to recall goalkeeper Matt Duke from his loan spell at Derby. The 33-year-old joined the Rams earlier this month and was scheduled to stay with them until the end of the season, but Hull goalkeeper Mark Oxley has sustained a back injury and Duke will return to the KC Stadium next week. Duke, who has not started a game for Hull since the FA Cup defeat to Wigan in January, is required as back up for Brad Guzan, who is currently manager Nigel Pearson's first choice as Vito Mannone is sidelined after suffering a recurrence of a thigh injury. Guzan is scheduled to return to parent club Aston Villa after the clash at Watford on April 9, while Mannone, on loan from Arsenal, has made only one appearance for the Tigers since the end of December.
