Tigers' McCormack move held up
Skysports.com understands Hull City's pursuit of Cardiff striker Ross McCormack has been held up by the involvement of a third party in the deal.
Hull are keen on signing the Scotland international and are believed to have had a bid rising to £4million rejected by Cardiff.
The Tigers' move for McCormack, who is also attracting interest from Portsmouth, is thought to have stalled after a third party tried to get involved in a possible deal.
McCormack has never hidden his desire to play in the Premier League and he is keen for his future to be resolved one way or another.
The player's agent Willie McKay admits the involvement of the third party in the transfer has stalled any possible move to Hull and that the whole situation is unsettling the player.
"Hull had a bid rejected by Cardiff and the deal has been held up by a third party who has tried to get involved in the move," McKay told skysports.com.
"It is upsetting for Ross as he just wants to concentrate on his football and he does not need this hanging over him.
"Like any player Ross would like to play in the Premier League, but unfortunately third parties get involved saying they will get things done and they only end up complicating matters.
"At the minute Ross is a Cardiff player and he will continue to give 100 per cent to Cardiff.
"I believe Peter Ridsdale is a realist and if the right offer comes in he will sell, if it doesn't he won't sell, simple as that."
