Tigers land Gunners keeper
Hull have signed Arsenal goalkeeper Vito Mannone on loan until January 3.[LNB] Mannone, 22, has found first-team opportunities hard to come by since arriving at the Emirates Stadium from Italian side Atalanta in 2005, but will now vie with Matt Duke and Mark Oxley for a place in City boss Nigel Pearson's starting line-up.[LNB]Pearson said: "Vito is a very, very good young goalkeeper who has found his opportunities limited at Arsenal.[LNB]"I like to have competition, in all positions if possible, and Vito has some Premier League and Champions League experience.[LNB]"There'll be some good competition there and it's a healthy position to be in."
