Tigers earned their stripes - Myhill

Goalkeeper Boaz Myhill claims no-one can have any complaints about Hull's survival in the Barclays Premier League. The Tigers escaped relegation despite losing the final game of their campaign 1-0 to a much-changed Manchester United side at the KC Stadium. Victories elsewhere for Newcastle or Middlesbrough could have pushed them into the bottom three but neither of their main relegation rivals were able to avoid defeat. It means a second season of top-flight football for Hull despite a near-catastrophic loss of form which saw them win just two of their last 29 games. Myhill said: "It's a strange feeling to celebrate a loss but it's done over the course of the season so there can be no complaints. "We now start (next season) exactly the same as we did last year but we've got another year's experience of it and hopefully that will stand us in good stead."
