Tigers confirm Bhoys' Bullard interest

Hull City have confirmed Celtic have shown an interest in Jimmy Bullard and are ready to consider offers for the midfielder.[LNB] Following the Tigers' relegation from the Premier League, several players are expected to be moved on over the summer with Bullard likely to lead the exodus.[LNB]The 31-year-old is the club's biggest earner and Hull are keen to drastically reduce the wage bill ahead of next season's Championship campaign.[LNB]Celtic have been linked with a season-long loan offer for Bullard after Wigan Athletic ruled out the prospect of re-signing the player.[LNB]The Tigers' head of football operations Adam Pearson is aware of interest from Celtic and is now waiting to see if the SPL giants make an offer.[LNB]Financial predicament[LNB]"We are aware that Celtic have an interest in Jimmy Bullard," Pearson told the Scottish Daily Express.[LNB]"They haven't made a direct approach to me, but I know officials from Celtic have spoken to a number of people on our coaching staff about Jimmy Bullard.[LNB]"Everyone is aware of our financial predicament and we would have to consider all offers.[LNB]"If Celtic were to make an offer for Jimmy Bullard, whether it be a permanent transfer or a loan deal, then it is something we have to give serious consideration to."
