Hull City have moved to reassure fans that the injury suffered by record signing Jimmy Bullard is not the same as that which kept him on the sidelines for 16 months at Fulham.[LNB] Bullard was hurt on his debut at West Ham and subsequently missed the Tigers' 2-2 draw with West Brom on Saturday.[LNB]However the club is taking no chances with the £5million midfielder as the injury is to the same knee which Bullard suffered horrendous cruciate damage in 2006 and have sent scans to leading US-based specialist Dr Richard Steadman.[LNB]ConfidentWhilst still awaiting Steadman's verdict City chairman Paul Duffen is confident Bullard will not be away from the action for too long.[LNB]"Jimmy is completely stable, it is not the same injury as 18 months ago and the worst case scenario is that he will be out for 10 days to two weeks," he told the Hull Daily Mail. [LNB]"Even if he does need an operation, it will only be to trim a ligament like Bernard Mendy earlier in the season.[LNB]"That means he will be available to return in time to play against Tottenham at the end of February."[LNB]
