Tigers boss up for award
Hull City manager Nigel Pearson has been nominated for September's Championship manager of the month award.[LNB] Pearson has steered the Tigers into the top six following an unbeaten six-match run, with two draws and two wins secured in September.[LNB]The former Leicester boss is one of four managers nominated for the monthly accolade. Southampton's Nigel Adkins, Middlesbrough's Tony Mowbray and Malky Mackay of Cardiff are also in contention.
