Tigers boss out to right wrongs

Hull manager Nigel Pearson made it clear his players have plenty of work to do if they are to avoid a repeat of Saturday's defeat at Millwall.[LNB] Pearson used all three of his substitutions inside the first 45 minutes, by which time Hull were 2-0 down, but Millwall went on to register a comprehensive 4-0 rout to undo all the good work they had put in during their opening-day win over Swansea.[LNB]Pearson said: "I think you've got to try things out. Things weren't very positive for us in the first half, although that's not to say there weren't passages of our play that were OK.[LNB]"But all four of their goals were preventable and it's disappointing when you concede in that fashion.[LNB]"We'll be working very hard to put that right this week."
