Tigers agree Zamora fee

Fulham have announced that they have accepted a £5million offer from Hull City for striker Bobby Zamora. The Tigers have been desperately attempting to sign attacking reinforcements after only escaping Premier League relegation on the final day of last season. Hull boss Phil Brown has missed out on deals for Michael Owen, Fraizer Campbell and Marc-Antoine Fortune this summer, but could now be successful. Zamora only joined Fulham from West Ham last summer in a combined move which also included John Paintsil, with the forward's cost in the switch believed to be £4.8m. The 28-year-old struggled last season with the Cottagers and scored only four goals for Roy Hodgson's side in all competitions. Zamora netted on two occasions in the league, while his other two goals came in the FA Cup.
