That moment from American Beauty was one of the most iconic images of 1990s cinema, but it has now been topped by Jimmy Bullard lying seductively on a bed of football shirts.
If you are wondering who to blame for this image which will be burned into your retinas for the rest of time, you need to talk to the good people at Carling.
The picture celebrates the company’s shirt amnesty, which gives fans the chance to swap their shirts for free if the player they’ve got on the back of their suddenly ups and leaves.
It is all being done via the Carling Shirt Amnesty Van, which will be hitting different locations throughout the summer.
So Liverpool fans might want to keep their eyes out if Raheem Sterling seals his anticipated transfer, or Aston Villa fans if Christian Benteke moves on.

Former Wigan midfielder Bullard said: “Carling’s Shirt Amnesty is the chance for fans to swap a shirt of a player who has now left your club for one of the new heroes your club has hopefully replaced him with.
“I was in the game long enough to know what it’s like for fans to have players jog on unexpectedly so anything that gives back to those fans is a winner in my eyes.”
