ew boss Sven-Goran Eriksson warned his Leicester City side they must step up their work rate to succeed in the Championship.[LNB] The former England manager spoke after his first competitive game as Foxes manager ended in a 1-1 draw at home to Hull.[LNB]Leicester raced into a second-minute lead when Matt Oakley fed Andy King whose shot from 12 yards beat Hull goalkeeper Matt Duke at his near post.[LNB]Hull levelled after 52 minutes when a low shot from 20 yards by Robert Koren bounced over the outstretched arm of Chris Weale.[LNB]Eriksson said: "It was a game of two halves. We started the game very well.[LNB]"We played good football and scored early on and created other chances.[LNB]"But in the late first half and second half we couldn't control it like we did in the first half. We lost the ball and put ourselves in danger.[LNB]"It was a game we could have lost, so maybe 1-1 is a fair result.[LNB]"We must work and keep our energy for 90 minutes, which we didn't do today."[LNB]Eriksson revealed he hopes to boost his Leicester squad with more loan signings.[LNB]The Swede has already borrowed full-back Kyle Naughton from Tottenham and centre-back Curtis Davies from Aston Villa.[LNB]Both made their Leicester debuts and completed the game.[LNB]Eriksson said: "We are looking to improve in all areas and hopefully we will take in one or two more. It's not easy but we are trying very hard."[LNB]Nigel Pearson was given a warm reception by Leicester supporters on his first return to the Walkers Stadium since his departure in the summer to become boss at Hull.[LNB]Pearson was full of praise for his players who staged a stirring fightback.[LNB]He said: "If I'm honest a point is fair for us. In the first half we looked at times like they could have over-run us. But we stuck with it and got back in it.[LNB]"Our second-half response was very good.[LNB]"We had conceded a poor goal after just two minutes and that could have left us with a mountain to climb.[LNB]"In the first half we didn't have a shot, but in the second half I think we created about nine chances.[LNB]"It's a good point but in the end it could have been better, or could have been worse.[LNB]"The second half was much better. We looked dangerous and played some good football as well. Now we need to improve our overall points return."
