Spirited Hull ready for the fight - Cousin

Hull striker Daniel Cousin insists the squad is pulling together as they prepare for a crucial relegation showdown with Stoke. Cousin was involved in an angry confrontation with team-mate Geovanni during Monday's Barclays Premier League defeat at Aston Villa. The 32-year-old claims the issue was soon resolved and spirits in the camp are high. Hull are just three points above the bottom three with three games remaining and Cousin admits victory against Stoke at the KC Stadium is imperative. Gabon international Cousin said: "All the players are united. We speak every day and it is behind us. We didn't fight. It was just a disagreement and at the end of the day it was probably because everyone is a bit anxious and nervous at the moment. "These things happen but I prefer it when players are talking to each other rather than just whispering behind each others' backs. We are big men, adults. We spoke about it and we are friends again now. "This is a very important game because it is the determining match for staying in the Premier League. We need the points and we need to win this match."
