Sonko out to impress

Hull new boy Ibrahima Sonko admits he is keen to prove a point following his move to the KC Stadium.[LNB]Sonko joined Phil Brown's side on transfer deadline day on a season-long loan from Premier League rivals Stoke.[LNB]And he told the club's official website: "I am very pleased to be here and the manager is giving me the chance to show everybody that I am good enough to play in this league. Hopefully I can do the job.[LNB]"Everywhere you go, you want to play in the first team and I am here to challenge those who are already here and doing that can only make everybody a better player.[LNB]"This seems a nice place and everybody was very welcoming when I arrived for training. Hopefully I can repay that on the pitch.[LNB]"I'm going to try and make sure I fit in here and settle very quickly. The first game might be hard because I haven't played for a while. But I'm going to be working hard over the next few days to make sure I'm fit and raring to go."
