Shakespeare: Fans have key role

Hull's assistant manager Craig Shakespeare believes the fans have a huge role to play in the Humber derby against Scunthorpe at the KC Stadium. The Tigers could slip into the npower Championship relegation zone if Scunthorpe plunder all three points and other results go against them but Shakespeare feels a big KC Stadium crowd can give Hull a big lift. He said: "It's a home game and we need points on the board at this stage. "It's a local derby with a big crowd and there'll be a good atmosphere, so it's something we're all looking forward to. "Our fans have been terrific so far for us at home and they know their support is well needed. "Their vocal support will get behind the team and hopefully help us to three points."
