Republic's McShane sidelined by injury

Republic of Ireland defender Paul McShane has pulled out of the squad ahead of Friday's Euro 2012 qualifier in Armenia.[LNB] The 24-year-old Hull player has been ruled out with a hamstring injury and has returned to his club for treatment.[LNB]However, McShane could return for next Tuesday's home clash with Andorra if his problem clears up.[LNB]He joins Damien Duff, Keith Andrews and Keith Treacy, who were all named in the original squad, on the sidelines, while Ipswich defender Darren O'Dea was on Tuesday afternoon undergoing a scan on a knee injury.[LNB]
