Phil Brown fined for FA Cup row with Joe Kinnear

Brown is no stranger to the football authorities, having been fined £1,000 fine warned him over future conduct after he admitted another charge of improper conduct following his toucholine misdemeanours during Hull's 5-0 thrashng by Wigan earlier this season.[LNB]Kinnear is currently recovering from heart surgery, and as such his hearing will be scheduled for a later date.[LNB]For his part, Kinnear remained defiant following his bust-up with counterpart Brown. [LNB]"I will always fight my corner and stick up for what I think is right and there's no reason why I should change," said Kinnear following the FA Cup tie. "That's the way I am. I react to things. I'm very passionate and I'll always fight my cause and stand my ground and that will never change. I've done that all my life and I've been in front of the beaks four dozen times.[LNB]"It's part and parcel of how I feel. If you have something to say you have to say it. I didn't attack him in any way or anything else like that. We didn' t lock horns but we had plenty to say to each other.[LNB]"This was strictly between me and him. I don't know how the referee got involved. There must be some sort of rule that says you can't have a ruck with an opposing manager. That's all I saw it as â " a ruck. I finished it but he instigated it." Kinnear is due to return to work in mid-April.[LNB]
