Hull boss Nigel Pearson insists there have never been any fears within the club about their lack of goals in the Championship this season.[LNB] The Tigers had registered only seven goals in nine league matches prior to the 2-1 weekend win over Cardiff and now have nine from 10, which is still one of the lowest returns in the league.[LNB]Pearson told the club's official website: "Regardless of what people may think, there hasn't been an anxiety about scoring goals and, on Saturday, we always looked very positive.[LNB]"I was pleased with how we finished the game in terms of we were still looking to score goals.[LNB]"When we needed to defend, we did so with conviction and commitment. All in all it was a very good day."[LNB]Pearson's side extended their unbeaten league run to six matches and climbed into the top six thanks to goals from Matty Fryatt and Nick Barmby against Cardiff.
