Hull manager Nigel Pearson believes Saturday's opponents Brighton are beginning to discover just how tough life in the Championship can be.[LNB] The Seagulls made a flying start to the season following promotion, winning five of their first six league games, but, having taken just one point from their last four, have slipped to fifth place in the table.[LNB]Pearson told the Tigers' official website: "It will be a tough game for us and Brighton have started well at their new stadium.[LNB]"They've kept the momentum from last season when they got promoted and they play an attractive style of football.[LNB]"Everybody has talked about what a great start they have had, but we've caught them up. That shows how difficult it is to be consistent in this league."[LNB]Hull have climbed up to sixth place on the back of a six-game unbeaten run and Pearson added: "We feel we're making progress and confidence is high, but we also know that there's still work to be done."
