ew Hull manager Nigel Pearson is looking forward to "a big challenge" at the KC Stadium following his move from Leicester.[LNB] The 46-year-old guided the Foxes to the Championship play-offs last season - their first back in the second tier - but saw the campaign ended by a penalty shoot-out defeat to Cardiff.[LNB]His move to East Yorkshire came as a shock to many, but he admits that Hull's director of football operations, Pearson's namesake Adam, and chairman Russell Bartlett impressed him with their enthusiasm and desire.[LNB]"Once I found out how much Hull City wanted me it became quite an easy decision for me," he told the club's official website.[LNB]"I'm delighted to be here now and I'm looking forward to what is a crucial part of our preparation for next season.[LNB]"I had a pretty informal chat with Adam Pearson and Russell Bartlett and they talked about their aspirations and how they saw the club moving.[LNB]"They see me as somebody who has got a chance of realising those aspirations.[LNB]"We all want success and it's going to be a big challenge, but it's an opportunity for me to come into a club and change things somewhat.[LNB]"I want to be successful and so do Hull City. This is a fresh start for a lot of people and it will be interesting to see how the players respond."
