Hull manager Nigel Pearson gave Tijani Belaid a glowing appraisal after the Tunisia international's first start for the Tigers in Saturday's win over Preston. Belaid, 23, signed for Hull on a permanent basis last month following his release from Czech side Slavia Prague and following two appearances as a second-half substitute played a big role against Preston as the Tigers extended their unbeaten league run to seven matches. Pearson said: "I thought it was the ideal opportunity to introduce him into the starting line-up. "You can see that he's a very talented player and I think he has adapted to the pace of the English game very well. "There's more to come from him. I'm not saying that he's going to be starting every week, but he contributed very well to the performance on Saturday."
