Pearson concerned by away form

Manager Nigel Pearson was left to reflect on another poor showing on the road from his Hull side as they were beaten 2-0 at Cardiff. Goals from Seyi Olofinjana - on loan from Hull - and Gavin Rae extended Cardiff's unbeaten start to the campaign. And Pearson said: "It was another frustrating day as we seem to have a losing mentality in away games that needs to be addressed very quickly, "We are not giving ourselves a chance of winning games and it was a very soft victory for Cardiff. "There were certain aspects of our game that improved, particularly with our two new central defenders, and for Anthony Gerrard to come to his own club and play so very well was a plus point. "It's always a risk when one of your players plays against you but we should have defended Seyi Olofinjana's headed goal much better. This season we have been losing on the road mainly because we have come up against better sides but we are still playing with some sort of mental blockage which I must do everything I can to rectify."
