Palace Break Duck

City give Palace the confidence they needed at the expense of a home defeat Crystal Palace arrived at the KC this afternoon without an away win since last october. Pearson made two changes since the crushing defeat against Leeds Utd. which saw Dawson relegated to the bench in what looks like the beginning of the end for the loyal left back. Although city had one or two things to shout about the young side looked more like chickens with no heads than a patient quality footballing side and the 15th minute goal by Jermain Easter with a suggestion of assistance from Chester gave the Tigers more than enough to come back from for the rest of the game. In all honesty, Pearsons subs where more reactive than pro active and we are seeing yet another appaling start to the season and one that City fans are getting quite tired of. Pearson had a poor start to last year but we had to excuse the fact that he had inherited a poor team but this time round he will have to stand or fall by his signing and judgements. I agree that it will take city a few seasons to gel into an effective unit but in my personal opinion I dont see Nigel Pearson as an ambitious manager that the city fans want and deserve. I was never in favour of Pearson as manager from the onset but we have to back him up. I believe he will not see the season out at the KC, especially if we have another 3 or 4 performances like this over the next month where we give a goal away and have not the resources or quality to come back from it. My money is on Barmby as player manager by next season...but we must maintain Championship football first. In the meantime we have to accept that Pearson will be in panic mode and we will see quite a few changing teams in the near future.
