Myhill calls for Tigers calm

Hull goalkeeper Boaz Myhill has called for calm as the Tigers aim to halt their slide towards the Premier League drop zone. After an impressive start to their debut top-flight season, the Tigers have slipped into the relegation battle having won just two of their last 23 Premier League games.Hull now lie just four points above the bottom three and face a crucial game away to fellow strugglers Sunderland on Saturday. And Myhill, who is in line to replace Matt Duke in goal at the Stadium of Light, believes the battle for Premier League survival will come down to who holds their nerve."It's that time of the year where whoever masters their nerves the better and produces the most composed performance will more than likely win," he told the Hull Daily Mail."You just need to be steady. Now is not the time for spectacular play, it's a time for steady and efficient players. We just need to be calm and calculated."Results like last week dent your momentum but not your confidence, that's two different things. We just need to get back on our bikes and get going again."Hull suffered at 3-1 defeat at second-bottom Middlesbrough last week and manager Phil Brown has made his feelings perfectly clear as the Tigers prepare to return to the North-East."What's said on the training ground stays on the training ground but it's fair to say there's been some harsh words," Myhill added."I don't feel over the course of the season we've let anyone down but you have disappointments in football and it's up to us to come back from them."[LNB]
