Barnsley have completed the signing of Hull defender Paul McShane on a two-month loan deal.
The 25-year-old Republic of Ireland international has been drafted in as cover for Steven Foster, who will be sidelined for several weeks with a muscle problem in his leg.
On McShane's departure, a Hull statement read: "The club can confirm that defender Paul McShane has been allowed to join Barnsley on a two-month loan deal."
Hull have the option to recall McShane after 28 days should they need to.
McShane has previously played for West Brom, Sunderland, Brighton and Walsall, having started his career at Manchester United.
