McShane frustrated by Tigers display
Hull defender Paul McShane conceded the Tigers "almost went through the motions" in their midweek home defeat to Sheffield United.[LNB] McShane was passed fit despite an ankle injury and turned in a man-of-the-match display, but that was of no consolation after Blades winger Mark Yeates scored the game's only goal.[LNB]The Republic of Ireland international said: "We almost went through the motions in the first half and the second half was pretty much the same thing. We didn't come out of the blocks sharply enough. It was a frustrating night for us."[LNB]McShane said his injured ankle had not been too much of a hindrance against the Blades, adding: "It was aching a bit and it's still a bit swollen, but I was able to run on it and turn sharply and it didn't cause me any problems."[LNB]
